The Redeyes are coming off a tough week against powerhouse Deniliquin Rovers, which saw Blighty lose both fourths and thirds matches.
Berrigan will prove to be a tough opponent and should bring their top form after defeating Jerilderie last weekend.
Blighty thirds coach Andy Amor said his side has been improving weekly and all players remain enthusiastic.
‘‘Our boys are gelling as a group every week. We’re sorting out a few positions still,’’ Amor said.
‘‘They’re enjoying playing their footy at the moment, which is the main thing.
‘‘The Picola League did a great job getting a league together for the juniors in our district.
‘‘We have just one injury this week so our squad should stay relatively unchanged.’’
Fourths coach Matt Dudley said despite injuries, his side needs to remain consistent as the season progresses.
‘‘We’re all fired up and ready to attack this weekend,’’ Dudley said.
‘‘We have a few out but are hoping to get some back from injury.
‘‘All season long we’ve moved kids around into different positions. It’s about having a chance to play everywhere.
‘‘Above all else we want to win some football, so we’re excited to get out there and play at home.’’
Blighty’s netballers faced a similar fate last weekend, losing all matches against the tough Rovers squads.
But netball president Vicki Ackers said the girls are looking forward to mounting a big turnaround against Berrigan.
‘‘Our girls are keen as mustard to get out there and work on what they’re learning. They’re working really well as a team throughout all grades,’’ Ackers said.
‘‘I have nothing but praise for our club, from the players to the coaches; they’re all giving it their best and they’re really happy with the chance to play.
‘‘We have had no injuries so far, so we expect to send full strength line ups onto our home court this weekend.
‘‘Our players and families have been doing a good job with our COVID-Safe measures but we just need to monitor how many are coming to watch as spectators so we don’t exceed any limits.’’
Action will kick off at 10am for the Under 15s and 11s netballers.
Fourths footy will start at 11am followed by the thirds at 12.15pm.
Netball U13s and U17s will start at 11.10am.
