Blighty Football Netball Club secretary Jodi Brown said this hub is not possible without volunteers who are essential to the many opportunities the club provides.
“Volunteers are the backbone of our club,” she said.
“Their dedication, time, and energy are what make everything we do possible; from overseeing the club, organising events, rostered duties, and maintaining facilities to coaching, mentoring, and supporting our athletes behind the scenes.”
The Redeyes volunteers provide a chance for members of the community to play sport and be included in the social aspect of the club.
“Our volunteers work tirelessly, some all year round, to ensure players have the opportunities to participate.
“These individuals don’t just give their time; they give their passion, their skills, and a deep sense of community.
“We are incredibly grateful for every volunteer who steps up to help.
“Their efforts inspire others, create a welcoming environment, and ensure our club remains a place where everyone can grow, play, and thrive.”
Jodi said there are always opportunities for new volunteers to help out.
“Anyone looking for a role within the club is encouraged to reach out.
“Once again, thank you to all of our volunteers; we see you!”
