CBD buzzing at NAIDOC market

Edward River Council Mayor Peta Betts, Laura Hand-Ross and ERC Deputy Mayor Paul Fellows.

The NAIDOC week celebrations continued in Deniliquin on Wednesday, with locals gathering at the Multi Arts Centre for a special NAIDOC Week market.

The CBD was buzzing, with Indigenous art and culture being celebrated through a variety of stalls.

The Deniliquin Aboriginal Land Council event invited local makers and organisations to showcase their jewellery, artwork, crafts, clothing, services and more.

There was plenty for everyone to enjoy, with the kids taking full advantage of the jumping castle and beautiful face painting.

Deniliquin Lions Club members were kept very busy supplying a delicious barbecue to those who attended.
