The culmination of the Deniliquin Business Chamber event will be the presentation of the Business of the Year.
A special guest at the awards will be Business NSW’s Riverina Murray regional director Serena Hardwick.
She said it is fantastic to see so many businesses involved in the awards, which are a great way to celebrate the achievements of business in the area.
This has resulted in strong representation from the local area at the regional and state levels of the awards process as well.
“I am looking forward to attending the Business Awards in Deniliquin and congratulate the Deniliquin Business Chamber on putting on the event, and their leadership in supporting the local business community,” Ms Hardwick said.
“I would also like to acknowledge all of the finalists and their achievements in business.
"The current business conditions are putting significant pressure on businesses, meaning that recognising businesses efforts and milestones is more important now than ever before.
“We need to applaud the resilience and innovations of businesses in our community and support them as they navigate the current economic climate. The Business Awards are the perfect platform for this.”
The awards night is just one of the ways the business sector is supported by Deniliquin Business Chamber.
As an alliance partner of Business NSW, chamber can also provide members free advice line calls, free energy comparisons and advocacy to decision makers on key issues impacting business.
"We acknowledge that this is a challenging time for businesses across the state and encourage businesses to lean on their local chamber and the chamber network in terms of support and providing feedback that we can use to advocate to government to better support business within New South Wales,“ Ms Hardwick said.
