Classic way to spend Mother’s Day

Get your blood pumping this Sunday by participating in or witnessing the annual Mother’s Day Classic in Tocumwal.

Open to runners and walkers of all ages and abilities, the event is not only a great way to spend the day but is also a way to celebrate, honour and raise vital funds for those impacted by breast cancer.

Last year’s Tocumwal Classic attracted 150 people from across the district and interstate, and raised more than $9000.

Registrations are still being taken for this weekend’s event, which will be hosted at the Tocumwal Recreation Reserve.

The 4km walk, 8km walk and 4km run all start at 8.30am.

Participants will receive a race bib and medallion in the mail so they can create their very own unique MDC experience and have access to the MDC online fundraising dashboard and fitness tracker.

Bring family and friends and get active for breast cancer research.
