Steve King and Craig Hillier played out the final of the Club B-grade Singles in a seesawing encounter in which the lead changed no fewer than six times.
King eventually gained the ascendancy very late in the contest, with the five shot buffer at the end being the greatest margin for the entire match.
The final of the Club Open Pairs was also decided when Simon Chisholm and Graham Nisbet took on Jamie Shields and John Flisher.
This was certainly a game of two contrasting halves when Chisholm and Nisbet found themselves trailing two shots to 13 after only seven ends.
A six on the next end seemed to be the catalyst to alter the match completely however, as they racked up 14 unanswered shots over five ends to take over the lead.
They entered the final end with a two shot lead, and while Shields and Flisher were valiant in claiming one shot, it was just not enough to prevent victory to Chisholm and Nisbet by the barest of margins.

The Deniliquin Bowling Club hosted another willing band of players at the Clear Lifestyle Support Jackpot Bowls last Wednesday.
When the dust settled, it was Tyler Hipworth, Errol Bashford and Mick Atley who had a one shot better score than Ron Davis and Raiko Kurisoo.
Gary Lehman then had his name picked out for the opportunity at the $2050 jackpot.
He failed to nail it however, which determines that there will be $2100 on offer for some fortunate bowler after play on Wednesday.
With three quarters of the pack gone, the chances of someone claiming a very healthy payday are narrowing by the week.
Intending players may ring the club on 5881 1348 or register in person prior to 5pm. Play will commence at 6pm.
