At just 18, Pittman has already collected a Golden Guitar for New Talent of the Year, toured stadiums across Australia and New Zealand with Luke Combs, and racked up millions of views on viral performances.
His self-titled debut EP, released in late 2024, rocketed to number one on the ARIA Australian Country Album Chart and No. 8 on the overall ARIA Album Chart.
Its lead single, Going Nowhere Fast spent three weeks at the top of the Australian country radio charts, while follow-up Amen For The Weekend was crowned Countrytown’s Song of the Year and added to Spotify’s Viral 50 and Hot Hits Australia playlists.
“I’ve grown up listening to country legends, dreaming of a crowd this passionate,” Pittman told the Pastoral Times.
“The Deni Ute Muster is iconic; I can’t wait to bring my band and connect with Muster fans face-to-face.”
Fresh from stadium shows at Eden Park, Suncorp, Accor and Marvel, Pittman is eager to trade arena lights for the red dirt and roar of Deni’s festival atmosphere.
“My mum’s been to the Muster before (as a ticket holder), and I’ve had some mates go, but this’ll be my first time. It’ll be a hoot of a time.”
Pittman was in Nashville last month for the Country Music Awards (CMAs), and said he’s got some new music to perform at Deni that is sure to keep fans buzzing.
“It’s the third time in 12 months I’ve been to the US, and I was able to write some new songs over there.
“It’s brand new music, which will give a glimpse of who I am as a songwriter.”
Since breaking through in 2023 with singles like Ain’t Too Much To Ask and a viral Luke Combs cover viewed more than five million times, Pittman has become a television and magazine staple.
He’s appeared on Sunrise and The Today Show, and in Rolling Stone Australia, The Music, ABC and The Telegraph.
His headline East Coast tour sold-out six of eight dates, signalling that rural and urban fans alike have embraced his blend of traditional twang and modern pop-country hooks.
You can be certain this marks just the beginning of Pittman’s journey from Tamworth teenager to country-music mainstay.
The Deni Ute Muster promises two unforgettable days of music, culture, and community spirit, with Pittman scheduled to take the main stage at 10pm on day one.
Set for Friday, October 3 and Saturday, October 4, this year’s event continues its proud tradition of celebrating the Aussie ute and rural lifestyle with a jam-packed program for all ages.
Camping is a major part of the Deni Ute Muster tradition, with free general camping available from October 2-5.
