Business owner Kevin De Kryger was surprised with the award at the annual Pedders conference in Melbourne last week.
The award is decided on business performance, with product sales, customer service and after care all being taken into account.
Mr De Kryger said the award is a win for the whole team, and that it was special to receive the honour at the 75th anniversary celebrations.
“I was at the conference by myself and accepted the award, but the award is not just for me,” he said.
“It was good for the team, and good for our town to be recognised.
“We wish to thank all our customers for their support, especially in the past year.
“I also want to say thanks to the staff for their hard work and commitment to the business.
“Without them, this award would not be possible.”
Mr De Kryger is a regular at the annual Pedders conferences, which also provide important learning opportunities.
“This year there was a product release and drive day at Sandown Raceway, testing different loads and shocks, and some defensive driver training,” he said.
“There was also some sales based training with Mark Carter on the Friday.
“The conferences ran from Tuesday to Friday, with the awards held on Wednesday.”
