Deniliquin was buzzing over the weekend as the Deniliquin Boat Club hosted round 2 and 3 of Wakeboard Victoria’s competition, drawing competitors and supporters from across the region.

Local talent was on full display, including several debutants - Taj McCully in the Inverter Male division, Harper Simpson in Rookie Female, and Andrew Crocker in Male Straight Air.
They were joined by experienced locals such as Elka Conolly in the Inverter Female category, Stevie Williams in Rookie Female and Kobee Williams in Straight Air Female, all of whom showcased strong performances and helped underline the depth of talent in the community.
The event was made possible thanks to the generous support of sponsors and community partners, such as Deni Clothing Co and Red Rose Diner.
Organisers also acknowledged the ongoing support of the Deniliquin Boat Club, Edward River Council, and Deniliquin BIG4 Holiday Park.
Attention now turns to round four and the state titles, which will return to the Deniliquin Boat Club on February 14 and 15, 2026.
