The titles ran from Saturday, March 9 to Monday, March 11, at the Bendigo stadium precinct.
Four Deniliquin players - Ava Richards, Makayla Finn, Hannah McBurnie and Sienna Elphick - were all invited to play.
In the under-17s, Ava played for the Goulburn region while Makayla suited up for North Central.
Hannah McBurnie represented Goulburn in the under-15s, while Sienna played for North Central in the same age group.
Makayla played goal shooter and goal attack, Sienna at centre and wing attack, Ava played out of goal defence, and Hannah was in the goalkeeper position.
Remarkably, Ava has achieved this as a bottom-age player in the under-17s team.
Ava’s mother, Robyn Kiley, confirmed there was plenty of talent at the tournament.
But she said the Deniliquin players stood out.
Speaking specifically of her daughter’s performance, Kiley said the coaches were “very impressed”.
“They thought she had plenty of talent and skill,” she said.
“The representation at State Titles by the Deniliquin girls was particularly impressive, with many players playing club netball and extra representative netball.
“Outside of the Goulburn Region state titles team, Ava is also playing in the Vic North-East Talent Academy, which is a high-quality academy, and she’s a part of the under-17 Murray League representative side.”
