Store manager Amy Markham and her crew members spent time at McLean Beach, as part of Clean Up Australia Day, collecting rubbish.
The Deni Maccas crew have been participating in the annual clean up for more than nine years.
McDonald’s Australia has been a major sponsor of Clean Up Australia Day since its inception in 1989 and encourages all restaurants to join their local communities to help clean up rubbish.
Show ticket giveaway
The Deniliquin Show has seven children’s passes to this weekend’s Deniliquin Show to giveaway.
It will be a case of first in, best dressed.
We’ll accept one entry per family, with one ticket available per entry.
The first seven eligible entries emailed kayla.mcauliffe@denipt.com.au today will get a pass.

Police appeal for info
Deniliquin Police are still appealing for information relating to an incident in Deniliquin on February 13.
Police wish to speak to the driver of a car which picked up a female pedestrian on Davidson St in the town’s north about 2am that day.
Police said there have been reports the woman was subjected to “intimidating behaviour”.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Deniliquin Police on 5881 0299 or CrimeStoppers on 1300 333 000.
Calls to CrimeStoppers can remain anonymous.
North Lagoon working bee
The Deniliquin Kolety Lagoons Landcare Group is holding a working bee this Sunday to continue the clean up at the North Deniliquin lagoon.
Volunteers will be on the River St side and need your help.
Bring your own gloves, tools and water.
The community project is to restore the lagoon and its surrounding area back to the wonderful place it once was.
This will be a long term project and will involve the help of community volunteers, students and staff from Deniliquin North Public School and Deniliquin High School, Murray Irrigation, Kolety Landcare Lagoon Program and Edward River Council.
Lead organisers Ian Campbell and Allan Jones were driven to act by the state of the lagoon and its surrounds.
They wish to restore it to its former beauty.
