Dicko’s back in the showroom

Greg Dickinson has returned to the Deniliquin Rural Ford team as sales manager for Ford, Hyundai and used cars.

Greg Dickinson, or Dicko as he is affectionately known, has had a passion for cars for as long as he can remember.

After a few years away, it is this passion that drew him back to the role of sales manager at Rural Ford in Deniliquin, in the Ford, Hyundai and used car divisions.

“I started selling cars in 1989 - it was River Ford Echuca that gave me my start,” Dicko said.

“I’ve just always loved cars and spent my childhood with my brother in the garage tinkering with cars.

“I particularly love Fords and at least 25 years of my time in the industry has been with Ford dealerships.”

Along with Dicko’s return comes the plans for the future of the Deniliquin dealership.

General manager Vicki Holloway is excited for the business and what is to come.

“Greg brings with him a lot of experience,” she said.

“This experience, paired with the enthusiasm of our younger team members is setting the business up to better meet the motoring needs of our community.

“We want people to turn to us for their new and used cars and their service centre needs, and we’re developing plans that support this and our vision to be more focused on the community that we live in.”

While Dicko has a soft spot for XR6 and XR8 Falcons, he is ready to take on the challenges of industry changes as well.

“We have some awesome new products, including hybrid and electric cars.

“I am really enjoying being back here again, it feels like I never left.”

You can drop in and see Dicko and team at Rural Ford at 47-57 Davidson street Deniliquin.
