Driver dies in Nagambie crash
Police are investigating a fatal crash in Nagambie on Thursday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to Mullers Rd about 3.20pm following reports a car had crashed into a tree and caught fire.
The driver of the car was unable to be saved.
A community message was issued by VicEmergency at 3.30pm, saying a grassfire on Mullers Rd was travelling in a westerly direction.
Half an hour later a further message advised the fire was under control and firefighters would remain at the scene for some time.
The exact circumstances surrounding the crash are yet to be determined and investigations are ongoing.
