Drum fire too intense

While not out of control, the occupants of the home were instructed to reduce the intensity of the blaze and keep it controlled and maintained.

Nearby neighbours reported hearing a loud bang about 10 minutes before emergency services arrived on scene.

The Deniliquin brigade, however, confirmed it had no reports of an explosion or a ‘bang’ when being dispatched to the fire.
