Purtill Group — which also owns Cruizin* Diner (formerly known as the Hardinge St Roadhouse) and the North Junction Service Centre — made the announcement last week.
In a statement, the company said the decision was promoted by market conditions and staff shortages.
It has said staff who wish to remain in the company would have opportunities at the other service centres.
The last day of business at the store will by Sunday, July 24.
“After lengthy consideration, we regret to inform you that East End Store will be closing down,” the statement said.
“The decision to close down this business was not easy, with the decline in the market since the beginning of COVID-19 along with severe staff shortages, unfortunately it is just not viable to continuing trading.
“Current employees have the opportunity to transition to other sites within Deniliquin, some of which have already begun this process.
“We would like to thank all of our customers and employees of East End Store, we appreciate your support, loyalty and friendship throughout the journey.”
