Deniliquin Baptist Church is again hosting the free family event on Easter Sunday, from 9.30am to 12.30pm.
Pastor Chris Taylor said Easter in the Park has become a part of the local Easter celebrations for nearly 20 years.
“Last time there were close to 200 people who turned up and enjoyed the activities of the morning.
“This is our way of being part of the Deni community.
“We love organising Easter in the Park and seeing so many come along each year.”
As usual, there will be activities for all the family, including a jumping castle, face painting, park games like giant Jenga and Connect Four, a free barbecue lunch, and of course the annual Easter egg hunt.
Part of the event is the Easter service where there will be a children’s story, live music and a short talk about Easter.
“For believers all over the world, Easter is a celebration of the central message of the Christian faith – that Jesus died but rose again,” Pastor Taylor said.
“It is a message that helps make sense of the world we live in and gives us a true hope that we want to share with others.”
Everyone is welcome to join the celebrations on Easter morning.
