The Two Rivers Run Tractor Trek is on its way to the Murrumbidgee after leaving from the local area.
So named because it runs from the Murray to the Murrumbidgee, participants gathered at Tocumwal Town Beach at the start of the trek on Sunday.
Run by the Urana Vintage Machinery Club Inc, Corowa Historic Vehicle & Machinery Club and Riverina Vintage Machinery Club Inc, the trek is held to raise money for Motor Neurone Disease research.
It is named in honour of Jerilderie’s Ian Sneddon, a life member of the Riverina club, who was diagnosed with MND while still a participant and who has since lost his battle with the disease.
The trek has already made its way through Blighty and Conargo on its way to the end point at the Bolton Fire Shed, after which the trekkers will return to Berrigan to finish up on March 23.
Fundraising evenings will be hosted at the Coleambally Club on March 21 from 8pm and the Berrigan Footy Club rooms at 8pm on March 23.
