The club’s annual sheep races were held at Memorial Park on Sunday, with off field bragging rights and the Kev Bode Cup up for grabs.
The 250 club draw was incorporated into the day.
For attendees with 250 club tickets, there were complimentary drinks and nibbles.
The rain saw spectators huddle under the clubroom verandah, where several outdoor wood heaters were burning.
Community members attended in good numbers despite the weather, and enjoyed a great day with six preliminary sheep races before the final race just after 4.30pm.
There were some choice-named sheep, with the winner, the Ultimate Lunchtimers, winning the day’s main prize of $2500.
Sharing the spoils was a syndicate made up primarily of the clubs' reserves footballers.
The runner-up was Dorge, winning the $800 prize, and rounding out the podium was Dagwood Doggy which claimed $300.
Interspersed between the races was the 250 reverse draw, with names eliminated across the day.
