Eliza Johnstone went to Ace Radio for her work experience.
Despite being unsure of what career she actually wants to pursue, Eliza knows that she's a people person.
She likes to have tasks to complete and is interested in the media industry, thus she chose to spend her work experience with the team behind 102.5FM and 1521 2QN.
When asked about her favourite part of the experience, Eliza said it was “being a part of something and getting to go home and listen back to the radio and recognise what parts of it I was doing.”
She said it’s also been a great experience to see how a radio program and the ads all come together.
Aria Taylor spent her work experience in the radiography department at Deniliquin Hospital.
Aria was very quick to decide where she wanted to go, as it's been a long-term interest of hers.
"I find it so interesting how the images are created by sound waves,“ she said.
When asked what her favourite part of work experience has been, she said it was getting to see a 21 week pregnant woman have her ultrasound.
Max Ferguson is one of five students who has spent this week at Deniliquin South School.
It is the school where he served as prime minister back when he was in Year 6.
He said his career aspirations include but are not limited to being a principal, as it's something he's always taken an interest in.
When asked why a principal, Max said he had a few reasons.
"Running the school, meeting all sorts of new people, and keeping everything intact,“ he listed as those reasons.
Max told the Pastoral Times that one of his favourite things this week, if not his favourite thing, has been getting to know all the kids at South School.
