Trailing 26 to 22, the Drovers were stuck deep in defence in the dying stages of the match.
All hope looked lost for Deni with the home side on the attack.
A dropped ball from Griffith saw a turnover and with 10 seconds left to play Feagai scooped up the loose ball, ran 70m to cross the line and ground the ball for a try as the final whistle sounded.
Drovers coach Mark Thompson was thrilled with the win, saying it was a full team effort that got his side over the line.
‘‘We went into the game with just 13 players,’’ he said.
‘‘We were behind by two tries early but drew level before half time.
‘‘Griffith had a squad of about 25 players and had a fresh line-up in the second half.
‘‘We found ourselves down by two tries again but we stuck at it and managed to pinch the win right at the end.
‘‘It was hard to pick a standout player as everyone stood up on the day.
‘‘The forwards in particular were really impressive. They all had some sort of effort at different points of the game that were crucial.
‘‘Now we have two weeks off to concentrate on our next game against Tumut.’’
The Drovers are expected to have a weekend training session on top of their usual Tuesday and Thursday night trainings to make up for the two weeks off.
Thompson said it was crucial for his side to keep up their match fitness.
‘‘We’ve had two games now with a win and a loss, so we can’t afford to drop off,’’ he said.
‘‘We’re starting to build into a strong unit so we need to keep our focus up for our next game.’’
