Fine issued for CBD crash

Police said a vehicle driven by the 78 year-old allegedly entered the roundabout and collided with another vehicle, causing it to hit the gutter and then come to rest on the footpath.

The woman was conveyed to hospital for medical checks.

Police spoke to a number of witnesses and other motorists at the scene, and expect to issue an infringement notice for ‘not give way to vehicle in roundabout’.

Tyres slashed

About 10pm Tuesday, a 4WD parked in Hetherington St, Deniliquin had a number of tyres cut, causing them to deflate.
