Leigh Holmberg drove Rolco (beginner’s boat), and the observer was Ben Littman.
We welcome Mark Cartwright to the ski school crew.
Mark has been a valued member of the Deniliquin Boat Club for many years.
Mark and his family were competitors in the Southern 80 back in 2014.
He broings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to ski school.
“It is great being back involved with the ski school; I had an absolute ball driving Gilflite and seeing the delight on kids’ faces”.
Mark proved that he was still a daredevil and showcased his skiing abilities on the night.
Frankie White was Mark’s observer and did a fantastic job.
Isabella Goodyear slalom skied behind the advanced boat Gilflite.
She has been attending ski school for a few years and has a love for the sport.
Congratulations to Finn Lindsay-Field, who successfully skied behind Rolco using two skis for the first time.
Finn was on a mission to achieve his goal and got up on the first go.
We are very proud of Finn’s achievement; you are a natural on the water.
Tonight, the Deniliquin Boat Club is hosting the annual ski school party.
Everyone is welcome to visit the boat club and catch a glimpse of Santa and his elves skimming on the surface of the beautiful Edward River.
Shane and Ellie will be performing, and Tiamo Twin Flame Pizza will be cooking up a storm.
It is a night not to be missed.
