Firefighters attend bushfire near Kyabram

The fire is currently categorised as ‘small’ and was declared under control at 12.03pm.

A community information notice was issued at 12.13pm via the VicEmergency app alerting residents in the near vicinity to the grass fire.

The notice states there may be smoke visible from nearby communities and roads and firefighters will remain in this area while responding to the fire.

It also states there is no immediate threat to the community and no action is required.

At 12.25pm, the grass fire was declared to be safe.
