Free movie screening for Seniors

Local seniors and their guests filed into the Deniliquin Town Hall on Friday morning for a special movie screening for the NSW Seniors Festival.

More than 100 tickets were booked for the event hosted by Edward River Council and Deniliquin U3A.

Guests enjoyed the film Book Club: The Next Chapter starring Diane Keaton, Jane Fonda, Candice Bergen and Mary Steenburgen.

The screening was free thanks to government grants, and movie goers also received free lollies and savoury snacks.
