Locals Denise and John Fitzpatrick are justifiably proud of their grandson, Casey Gilbert.
Casey, who works for Merck Sharpe and Dohme, has recently been recognised for his managerial capabilities.
The 28 year-old has been named the company’s key account manager of the year for both Australia and New Zealand.
Casey was officially recognised for his skills during a function at Lovedale last week.
Casey is the son of Margaret and Dean Gilbert of Darlington Point.

Mathoura’s Carmelite Monastery of Jesus, Mary and Joseph is celebrating four years since its establishment on March 11, 2019.
On that day, the four founding sisters of the Carmel walked up the driveway of the small farmhouse which was to become their home.
Now, four years later their number has grown to eight, with a further two sisters arriving in June.
Their accommodation has already been increased by acquisition of two accommodation demountable buildings, with a third due for installation by June.
The Sisters are hopeful this will give them a little more space for their daily life of prayer and manual labour.
They are very happy with their property, and with the way their surroundings support their life of prayer, solitude, gardening, including fruit and vegetables which make them largely self-sufficient, and simple agricultural work.
Meanwhile, work continues steadily on plans and approvals for their future Monastery.
It will be fascinating to see what the next four years will bring for the Carmels and their way of life.

Many hands make light work, and the Mathoura Events Committee would like a few extra hands to help out at its Easter Fair.
If you could spare the group some time to sell raffle tickets and refreshments – as well as other chores - the group would like to hear from you.
You can contact them via email at mathouraevents@gmail.com.
Not into computers? If you know any of the committee members, just give them a shout. You would be made most welcome.
