The Navorina Ladies Auxiliary’s Charity Golf Day is back, and its members are inviting golfers of all abilities to register to take part.
Navorina Auxiliary chair Mari Drennan said money raised from the day supports elderly members of our community.
“The proceeds generated from the event will go directly to Navorina Nursing Home and will be used for the overall comfort and wellbeing of the residents,” she said.
“By joining in, everyone can not only enjoy a day of friendly competition but also play a part in making a difference in the lives of the residents.”
Mrs Drennan said the golf day is also a great social day out.
It will be held Sunday, July 30.
It is a four person ambrose with 11.30am assembly, for a noon shotgun start.
The $30 entry fee includes a sausage sizzle.
“Regardless of your golfing skill level, everyone is welcome to have fun and join in the day's events,” Mrs Drennan said.
“As an added bonus, there are exciting prizes to be won.”
The first place prize is a generous $400, while the runners-up will be awarded $200.
Register in person at the Deniliquin Golf Club’s Pro Shop, or by calling 5881 3333.
