And to help you on your way, the Deniliquin Pastoral & Agricultural Society is hosting a Pavilion Open Day this Sunday.
It will be held from 10am to 3pm at the Memorial Park Showgrounds.
With the 2026 Show theme proudly embracing Australiana, locals are invited to get inspired and start preparing their entries for one of the region’s most cherished events.
The day promises a vibrant mix of live demonstrations, expert advice, and children’s activities, including damper making and craft sessions.
Pavilion stewards will be on hand to answer questions, release official schedules, and outline rules and regulations for the upcoming show.
Hard copies of entry guidelines will be available, and the Deniliquin Show website will be updated after the event to reflect the latest information.
Show Society president Ayla Nganeko-Beggs is enthusiastic about welcoming the community.
“We are definitely keen to have the community come down and meet our experienced stewards and discover how they can get involved in the show pavilion,” she said.
“The pavilion is traditionally seen as an older ladies showing off their scones event, but it is more than that.
“We have worked to transform it into a space that reflects the creative and culturally diverse identity of our community.”
Ms Nganeko-Beggs also encouraged first-time entrants to come along and learn from seasoned competitors.
“Anyone looking to enter for the first time can get tips from experienced competitors and become a part of the show’s long history.
“It is also a great way to make connections outside of Deni, with some categories advancing all the way to the Melbourne and Sydney shows.”
