One of the things that defines the Good Friday Appeal is the thousands of volunteers on fire trucks and standing at traffic lights, in pubs and clubs and at hundreds of events shaking the Good Friday Appeal tins as people open their hearts and their wallets to support The Royal Children’s Hospital.
This year Good Friday events will be back to ‘normal’ however the Appeal has once again launched the Virtual Tin Shake for 2022.
You can create a tin under your name, contribute to your town’s tin, find a friend to donate to or create one for your school. Visit https://www.goodfridayappeal.com.au/donate/ to donate to a virtual tin today.
With Good Friday the primary day for raising money for the Royal Children’s Hospital, many towns in our region are hosting different events to provide support for this very worthwhile cause.
This Good Friday, April 15 the following events will be held around the region. More details and additional events are to appear in next week’s Chronicle.
