GV Libraries has the winter holidays sorted

Goulburn Valley Libraries has released its exciting and inspiring program of school holiday activities.

Throughout the July break, kids will have a range of options to choose from.

From Nintendo Switch free play sessions at Avenel and Cobram Libraries to movie screenings at Shepparton Library; GV Libraries has school holidays sorted.

School Holiday highlights at the Avenel Library

NAIDOC Week craft on tap spinning tops: July 8 to 12 during opening hours

NAIDOC Week Nunga Film Festival: Wednesday, July 9 at 1.30pm

NAIDOC Week layered patterned landscapes: Wednesday July 9 at 2.30pm

Craft on tap balancing birds: July 15 to 19 during opening hours

Native blossom pom poms: Wednesday, July 16 at 10.30am

Nintendo Switch gaming: Wednesday, July 16 from 1.30pm to 4.30pm

Giant boardgames will be available at each of the four GV Libraries, with giant Connect 4, chess, noughts and crosses and checkers on offer for fun challenges with family and friends.

For younger children, the regular Rhyme & Story Times will be running over the holidays.

While all the activities are free to attend, the GV Libraries recommends booking a place to ensure you don’t miss out.
