Whether you’re a newcomer to the gym or have a high level of experience, Evolve know the importance of comfort and fun when you’re working out.
Evolve manager Jenna Purtill said a major focus of the fitness centre was to make a ‘‘comfortable, friendly and fun environment for everyone’’.
‘‘We believe the best exercise is the one that you do,’’ she said.
‘‘We want to support your fitness and wellbeing in ways that you’ll actually enjoy.
‘‘At Evolve we provide everything from yoga to high intensity classes and weight training.
‘‘We have a fully-functional gym that members can access 24 hours with your own personalised program or with the support and encouragement of one of our expert personal trainers.
‘‘All of our classes are created based on the interests of our members. We introduce new programs each week to keep you improving and motivated.
‘‘If you’re looking for a high-intensity workout, we have boxing, regular outdoor bootcamps, high intensity interval training and strength classes, and a wide variety of free weights and cable machines.’’
To help with making a comfortable workout environment, Evolve boasts friendly staff members that are qualified in a range of disciplines.
Jenna said these trainers are dedicated to providing the best experience for the gym’s members.
‘‘Tenielle Tugwell has recently joined our team as a permanent personal trainer and fitness instructor,’’ she said.
‘‘She is an expert in helping people develop a love of health and fitness, wherever they are on their fitness journey.
‘‘We know how important it is for mums to feel healthy, so we offer pre and post-natal yoga, Pilates and personalised programs and training with our qualified exercise physiologist Terri Bootsman.
‘‘If you have specialist needs or are recovering from injury, you will receive the specialist support from Terri to help build your strength and fitness. Terri is registered with NDIS, Work Cover and Medicare.’’
Evolve is a family-friendly gym, with specific kids classes and a fun kids zone available for when you need to work out.
To help cater for families that want to get healthy, Evolve now offers a 30 per cent family discount.
Other membership options include a class-pass, to attend any of the centre’s classes, from only $8 each or access to all classes and the 24-hour gym at $18 a week.
If the classes aren’t for you, you can also just join the gym from $9.95 a week.
‘‘We also have short memberships if you have friends or family who are visiting who would like to work out, attend a class or have the option to visit our Infrared Sauna.
‘‘We know that fitness and wellbeing is different for everybody so we aim to offer something for every level of ability.’’
