A small but enthusiastic group of budding theatre performers have shown early interest in the Deniliquin Theatre Company’s next production.

Initial auditions for ‘High School Spooficial’ were held last week.

Director Sara Myatt said while only a few children attended, they all had so much fun during the process.

“They learnt basic choreography and engaged in an improvisation challenge,” she said.

“If you have the acting bug or your curious to see what the production will entail, it’s not to late.

“Children interested can join us for our last lesson of 2022 on December 20.

"And if you miss that one, there is another in the new year.

“That will be on February 7, 2023.”

Mrs Myatt said at least 10 more children are needed for the show to go ahead.

It is scheduled to be performed on May 20 and 21 next year.
