Some of the Deniliquin RSL Bowls Club’s players have been getting in some good practice ahead of the start of the Campaspe Valley bowls District season.
Some of the club’s female bowlers participated in the recent Kyabram Bowls Club Rotation Single Day.
Jo Chick, Jenny Tonta, Cheryl Bradley and Mary-Anne Spizer performed well, and were named runners-up.
The Campaspe Valley Bowls Division season gets underway with Saturday Pennant from October 14.
Midweek Pennant will then begin from Tuesday, October 17.
Competing clubs will include Echuca-Moama, Tongala, Rich River, Mathoura, Stanhope, Elmore, Deniliquin RSL, Deniliquin Bowling Club, Lockington and Rochester.
