That was how the commentators described Jerrah’s performance on day two of the V/Line Cup Championships held in Shepparton earlier this week.
She and fellow local footballer Shaleah Cooper both lined up in the Bendigo Pioneers’ girls’ side.
Theirs was among 21 teams competing across two boys divisions and one girls division from Monday to Wednesday.
The teams are made up of Country Victoria’s most talented junior footballers.
It was Jerrah’s Best on Ground performance against the Goulburn Murray Bushrangers on Tuesday that had the commentators singing her praises.
Kicking five goals and four points in the Pioneers’ 64-6 victory made her a standout.
Demonstrating that we breed good footballers here in Deni and district, Shaleah also caught the eye of the commentators, who called her “fantastic”.
The excitable commentators referred to Jerrah’s recent season playing for Deniliquin Rovers fourths highlighting, “16 matches for 21 goals, she’s an absolute superstar”.
“I really hope she sticks with football, she’s a star,” they said.
Even the commentators questioned where we might see Jerrah on the Sherrin next, with her playing career with the Rovers coming to an end this year.
Jerrah has aged out of the fourths, and the Picola and District Football Netball League does not allow females to play in higher grades.
The Pioneers ended the carnival with one loss and one win after playing on Monday and Tuesday.
