A collaborative initiative between the Deniliquin Business Chamber, Ray White Deniliquin, Edward River Council, Ace Radio and Deni Ute Muster has resulted in a ‘spruce up’ of the Deniliquin CBD for Easter and beyond.
The combined efforts have seen CBD store fronts get a tidy up, and empty shops provided with displays to showcase local events and businesses.
Chamber executive officer Kate Pitt said the reason behind the concept was to have “Deni looking great for our locals and visitors.”
She said the partnership between community stakeholders is also important in showcasing the town and its businesses.
“We have an enviable CBD with the beautiful Waring Gardens and the multi-arts centre that comes alive with the Rotary Easter Art show,” she said.
“What this is all about is a positive message to our community about how we are all partnering to showcase Deni.
“Sometimes it’s the simple things that matter most and a sparkling, vibrant main street is great for everyone.”
