Faye Jones, Kadi Mills, Peter Chivers, Sherri Danckert and Anne Mercer from Kurrajong stopped by to hand deliver a Christmas card to the PT office this week.
They’re in our shops and offices every week with their trolley of delicious fresh made biscuits and slices, but the Kurrajong team had a delivery of a different kind this week.

Clients and staff from the service took to the CBD to distribute Christmas cards to the community.
Four different designs of cards were handed out this year, each one created by the clients as part of an in house competition.
The chosen designs - which are all printed on the back of the Christmas cards - were created by Cheryl, Sherri, Kadi and a collaboration between Josie and Roger.
In this day and age when physical cards make way for digital communication, receiving a card lifted the spirits of the Deni PT staff this week.
As did the enthusiasm of the Kurrajong crowd, who donned Christmas outfits and had an infectious Christmas excitement.
Santa ditches the sleigh
Santa poses for the camera on his motorbike.
The kids at Deniliquin North Public School had a special visit before school finished up last week.
The students were already having a fantastic time with an early Christmas celebration involving presents and carols when Santa himself decided to crash the party.
Santa Claus rolled into the school, not in his famous red sleigh but on a shiny motorbike.
The students were thrilled over the special guest.
It seems Santa is a bit of a thrill seeker this year. Turn to today’s PT sport to read about how he surprised the children at the Deniliquin Boat Club’s Ski School last Friday.
The student o f north showed of their singing skill with a few carols.
New year, new book
You may have heard the phrase ‘turn a new leaf’ when it comes to the start of a new year, which indicates it’s time for a fresh start.
Well, we think you should turn a new leaf by starting 2024 with a fresh Deniliquin Telephone & Business Directory.
More commonly referred to as the ‘local phone book’, the 2024 edition of the local white and pink pages directory hit the shelves earlier this month.
Books are just $5, and are available from the Deniliquin Pastoral Times office, Deniliquin Newsagency or direct from the Deniliquin Business Chamber in End St.
Books purchased from the PT office are cash only.
The book is produced by the Pastoral Times on behalf of the Deniliquin Business Chamber.

Grants could be for initiatives such as workshops, education programs or improving facilities and community equipment.
This is the final round of the Rebuilding Regional Communities stream, and applications close 5pm on February 26.
