Laura leaves school with top award

Academic Excellence Year 5 recipient Lincoln Meharry, Dux Laura Hayes and Academic Excellence Stage 2 recipient Kywahn Button.

Laura Hayes received Edward Public School’s top honour in 2021, as Dux of the school.

She was one of many students celebrated at the school’s presentation day, held just before the end of the school year last month.

The 2022 school leaders were also announced at presentation day, with Ella-Rose Hattwell and Thomas Ives elected as captains.

Vice captains are Georgia Daniels and Alex Ledwidge, and Lincoln Meharry and Mason Durbidge are prefects.
