Local farmers assist Police
Local police were alerted this morning to a vehicle dumped in Bundalong, which was confirmed to be stolen overnight from Dubbo, New South Wales.
Wangaratta Police said the male offender is believed to have stolen and crashed four vehicles in attempt to flee the area.
Local farmers from Boorhaman assisted police from Cobram, Wangaratta, Yarrawonga, Wodonga, Katamatite and Tungamah, in searching for the male. The male was located hiding in a tree on a farmers property.
The male is currently assisting Cobram detectives at the Wangaratta Police Station.
