Making decisions in dry times

Local Land Services says having a drought plan with set trigger points to take action is a useful way to manage decision making during dry time.

The Drought plan template is a 3-page document designed to help you easily determine what you have on farm, such as livestock, fodder and water.

You can then go on to plan what trigger points you can use to know you need to sort alternative arrangements.
