Horseshoe Lagoon dazzled on opening night last Friday as the event moved into its fourth year.
The Yorta Yorta Nation Corporation was invited to perform a Welcome to Country as part of the proceedings, which included a traditional smoking ceremony.
The immersive sound and light trail shares stories through state-of-the-art installations, projections and cutting-edge moving light technology. And it is one not to miss.
Crafted and created by the acclaimed design studio Mandylights, this year’s display is inspired by the Banjo Patterson poem The Daylight is Dying.
Moama Lights runs on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights only during July. A special low sensory experience will be offered on July 18.
The program also includes an ice skating rink, set up at Moama’s Kerrabee Soundshell with skating available most days until July 25.
