I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the wonderful Deniliquin community for the incredible support shown during the recent Motherland event.
It was a truly special day, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the generosity, time, and spirit of so many people.
From our local businesses and individuals who provided sponsorship and raffle prizes, to the friends and family who helped set up and lend a hand on the day - your support meant everything.
It was one of those proud moments where you just want to show the whole country how amazing our town and its people are.
A very special thank you to Marie Muldoon, who co-organised the event with passion and dedication, and brought so many people on board to help.
Her energy and commitment made an enormous difference and helped bring our vision to life.
A big thank you as well to the Edward River Council team for their generous funding and practical support. Your help behind the scenes ensured everything ran smoothly and successfully.
We’re also incredibly grateful to the Pastoral Times and 2QN for their genuine interest and support in promoting Motherland.
Your efforts in spreading the word and highlighting the important work Motherland does to support women in rural, regional, and remote communities were truly appreciated.
Thank you, Deniliquin, for coming together to make this event such a meaningful celebration. It’s a day I’ll remember with pride.
Yours etc.
