The Deni Ute Muster is a local classic but also one of Australia’s most iconic rural festivals, drawing tens of thousands of visitors for a weekend of live music, ute-themed competitions, and country hospitality.
In 2024, the crowd of more than 20,000 included international travellers from New Zealand and America.
Also coming from overseas were headline acts Tyler Hubbard and Kip Moore, and Amy Shark lead the Aussie contingent of talent.
A total of 7991 utes rolled in to the Ute Paddock for the official count, and 4298 people took part in the Blue Singlet Muster.
The Muster’s selection as a finalist highlights the event’s excellence in delivering unforgettable experiences and its role in boosting the local economy.
The NSW Tourism Awards are the highest honour in the state’s visitor economy, celebrating excellence across attractions, accommodation, food and drink, sustainability, and events.
This year’s awards saw a record-breaking 230 nominations, with 125 finalists selected across 30 categories.
NSW Tourism Association CEO Natalie Godward praised the calibre of entries.
“The NSW Tourism Awards unite our industry, strengthen our communities, and shine a light on the dedication and pride of operators who create world-class experiences.”
Winners will be announced at the NSW Tourism Gala on Thursday, November 27, at Waterview in Bicentennial Park, Sydney Olympic Park.
