My Shop raises thousands for charity

Supporters came in droves to attend My Shop’s annual Biggest Morning Tea last Thursday.

The walkway on Napier Street was occupied by tables of goodies and people wanting to support this amazing cause.

Warm beverages, delicious treats, raffle tickets and generous donations assisted the lovely ladies at My Shop to raise more than $4300 for Cancer Council NSW.

My Shop owner Denise Phillips runs the annual fundraiser with the help of Irene Davies.

They said they were “overjoyed” with the amount of support they received.

“Thank you to the wonderful supporters, as usual,” Mrs Phillips said.

“My Shop gives a special thanks to Deni Golf Club Thursday golf ladies for raising $575 for this worthy cause, and we can’t wait to do this all again next year,” she continued.

“So many lovely people supplied beautiful home made treats and made generous donations,” Mrs Davies added.

Selling just as quickly as the delicious treats on Thursday were the raffle tickets. Elsa Bolton and Vicky Lowry were the lucky winners.
