Never too old to learn something new

Visiting on Tuesday morning, a group from RFS took the zone’s newest fire truck to the aged care facility in the Deniliquin CBD.

Residents and staff alike lined up for a look at the truck, and the equipment now at a firefighter’s disposal in stopping a blaze.

Mid Murray district coordinator Gerard James spoke to the residents about changes in the equipment, and was assisted by RFS staff Jodie Graham and Lauren Smits in showcasing all the gear.

“The residents asked plenty of insightful questions,” Mr James said.
