Zachariah Raphael Qin was born June 12 at Deniliquin Hospital, weighing 2875g (6lb 3oz).
He is a grandson for Ning Qin and Beining Chen from Sheffield, UK and Abdur Rahman-Ali and Honufa Bibi of Warrington, UK.
The couple said the care they have received has been top class.
“We thank Dr Marion Magee for her amazing antenatal care and the safe delivery of our baby.
“The wonderful midwives - Mary-Clair, Beth, Liz, Mai, Cath, Glenda, Narelle and Rachel - have provided us with kind, nurturing and compassionate care, especially over the three days we stayed in hospital, and invaluable education, especially for breastfeeding.
“Child and Family Health Services - so far we’ve dealt with Renee and Jess - have also been vital in educating and building confidence as new parents and made us feel so safe in their care.”

Hazel was born June 19 at Deniliquin Hospital weighing 3628g(8lb).
She arrived a little quicker than her parents expected for a first time birth, wth labour lasting just 1.5 hours.
The family has expressed thanks to the staff at Deniliquin Maternity and “an even bigger thank you to Dr Tess and the night midwife Mai - we couldn’t have of done it without you”.
