Well that’s me, Eamon Kurta, and I’m the new cadet journalist at the Pastoral Times.
I’m originally from Wagga Wagga, a town so good they named it twice, and am excited to start work in this beautiful town.
I love fishing, even though I barely catch anything, and am a fan of any sporting code, but rugby is closest to the heart.
I had a tough year in 2024, with my two teams, the Sydney Swans and Melbourne Storm falling short on the biggest stage.
Although its not looking good for the Swans this year, I have faith the Storm can pull through.
Additionally, I am a big movie buff, and can appreciate a good live show.
If you’re looking for a show to watch, I recommend Ludwig, a British comedy/murder mystery on 7 and 7plus.
Journalism is my passion and I am very thankful to the PT for giving me this opportunity to show what I can do.
I am really keen to get out and experience what Deniliquin has to offer.
