Offering leadership support will be vice captains Bonnie Everett and Darby Watson.
Elected to their roles at the end of term three, the foursome officially took the reigns when schoool returned this month.
The Pastoral Times were given a chance to sit down with the new captains to see what they had in store for their time as school leaders.
“We’re looking to be a voice for the other students, really give some attention to the things they want or need,” Maddie said.
“We feel very lucky that our fellow students have trusted us to represent them.”
As for specific projects and aims, the captains and vice captains are yet to get some proper brainstorming in between starting their HSC classes and being on an excursion last week.
“We are hoping for all four of us to sit down and have a meeting soon, to get a few things planned out,” Hayden said.
“We are already looking into doing a few fundraisers for the Year 12s, and have started a new award called the Captains’ Awards.”
The Captains’ Award will be presented to anyone - students or staff - who demonstrate excellent values or who is simply “deserving of acknowledgement for something they have done”.
