New school leaders ready to take up their positions

Vice captains for this year are Max Burge and Lilly Boyer.

Four other students have also been given leadership roles, as house captains.

Leading Grevilleais Lexi Butcher, while Ollie Murray captains Eucalyptus, Ari Strongman is in charge of Melaleuca and Isabella Muldoon leads Acacia.

The school’s presentation evening was hosted at the Deniliquin RSL Club, and principal Nick Braybon said it was a great night of celebration.

“It is a fitting venue for such a special celebration of every single student’s year, and also those special awards too.

“It was a huge turnout from our community and a great night.

“A personal highlight for me as I watched the night was the sheer joy the students had for their peers and friends when they received an award.

“The genuine happiness they had for their friends was absolutely infectious.”
