This year, Nutrien invites Deniliquin and district to help reach a total contribution of at least $30,000 after three years.
Nutrien’s first Do It For Dolly Day barbecue breakfast raised $4000, and last year the community rallied to see more than $11,000 raised.
Nutrien real estate agent Jake Freshwater says he’d love to improve on that number again.
All you have to do to support them is to buy a bacon and egg roll breakfast from outside Nutrien on Davidson St, Deniliquin next Friday morning.
Dolly’s Dream merchandise will also be on sale, and of course donations are welcome.
If you can’t be there on the day, drop in and see the team to make a donation.
Mr Freshwater said using last year’s breakfast output as a guide, the Nutrien team expect to have a busy morning on the barbecue.
“Last year we cooked up 25kg of bacon and more than 500 eggs, and went through more than $500 rolls.
“We originally only planned to be cooking for an hour, but the people kept coming so we kept going for two.”
Dolly’s Dream was created by Kate and Tick Everett following the shattering loss of their 14 year-old daughter, Dolly, to suicide after ongoing bullying.
They want to change the culture of bullying by addressing the impact of bullying, anxiety, depression and youth suicide, through education and direct support to young people and families.
