The town was buzzing at the weekend, with almost 900 keen anglers ready to hit the water for a weekend of fishing, prizes and more!
Kicking off the Deniliquin Fishing Classic weekend with a bang was the Prizearama night at the Deni RSL, which saw a $10,000 prize pool of giveaways drawn for Classic patrons.

Once 5pm hit on the Saturday and fishing had finished for the day, anglers and others flocked back to the RSL keen to get a bite to eat, have a drink and hopefully win some prizes.
The activities spilled from the car park to the park across the road, where some fun-filled kids activities like face painting and rides were hosted.
Once the sun went down, event goers eagerly waited for the draw of the two boat prizes for the evening.
