The Deniliquin Rams Under 13s and Under 15s netballers were both given the opportunity to play their first game of the year when they travelled to Hay on Saturday.

Blessed with beautiful weather, the Rams found success in the practice matches.
Deniliquin’s Under 13s recorded a convincing 35 goal win against the Lions.
All players worked hard and combined well in attack, midcourt and defence.
The Rams led from the start, taking a 13 to 1 lead into the first break.
Their dominance continued with a half time score of 19 to 4 and a three quarter time score of 34 to 5, before finishing the job in the final term.
Final score, Deni Rams 43 to Hay 8.

The first game this year for the Rams’ U15s did not disappoint, with Deni running away with a 44 goal win.
Smooth transitions, accurate shooting and relentless defence by the Rams had them looking like a team that has been playing together for years.
Deni led at every break with a quarter time margin of 12 to 1, half time score of 27 to 6 and three quarter time score of 42 to 9 in a stirring display.
Final score, Deni Rams 57 to Hay 13.
